Princess Adeliza of Arendaal (b. 1992) is the eighth daughter and the ninth and youngest child of King Edvard V of Arendaal and Laura of Franken. She eighth in line to the Aren Crown. By by birth she is both a Princess of the Kingdom of Arendaal and titular Grand Duchess of Bleåking (a region in the province/Grand Duchy of Norse Lorraine).

The Princess currently attends Vestergaard Academy in Emyn Arnen. She spends much of her free time in the kitchens of Karlheim Palace, apparently because she enjoys being helpful. Much to her mother's chagrin, when Adeliza was younger, she would try to help lay the fires in the fireplaces of the palace. Her father has treated her as a proto-arsonist ever since.

To make light of the situation, her nanny nicknamed her "Embers", a name which her sisters changed to "Emberella", which Adeliza believes "sounds like something you'd put up in the rain".
